Detroit Startup Week 2016 was the un-conference’s first year in the Motor City. To create a conversation about entrepreneurship in the city, along with the generation of lots of buzz for the week itself, Siren PR was brought on to lead media relations and marketing efforts.

Engagement leading up to Detroit Startup Week and throughout was in person (our favorite!), on Twitter, on Facebook, over email marketing and through dozens of media pitches resulting in an audience reach of 73+ million and 77 placements nationwide. Some of these placements included: Fortune, Crain’s Detroit Business, DBusiness, Reuters, Tech.co, WXYZ-TV, WDIV-TV and WJBK-TV.
