Shannon wants to forever be known as an obsessive learner of all things. Her love for uncovering new information that can alter any piece of her life or her work for the better is a characteristic she cherishes. With high attention to social media trends and laser focus to details in all projects, she is always working with strategy in mind. Work highlights include building highly effective social media pages from the bottom up; developing and launching digital advertisements to exceed business goals; writing meaningful content for those who have a story to tell; and successfully managing communication between media and the client.
As account executive, Shannon has a quick wit, diligent work ethic and a creative eye that she incorporates in everything she does.
Which Siren PR value speaks to you the most? Why?
Impact. It has become a rush to accomplish amazing amounts of important work. At the end of the week I love to look back on everything that has been done, even overcoming roadblocks, and the value that has been added because of it. What’s the point of doing something if it isn’t impactful in any way? I really love to see results in everything I do.
Why did you choose the PR and marketing field?
People. Everyone has a story tell, and being able to pick out meaningful stories and expand on them to connect people in that area and beyond is something I wanted to be a part of. I love that PR is a mix of creative writing, communication, design, strategy, and a constant cycle of learning new things. There’s really never a dull moment.
